AISI Type 52100 Chrome Steel is ideal for dry grinding and milling applications that do not require corrosion resistance. This low alloy chrome steel features excellent wear resistance, high hardness, superior surface characteristics, and dimensional precision.  It is the preferred material for balls across numerous applications requiring through-hardening and high load-bearing capacity.

Hardened to 60-65 Rockwell Scale and are hardened all the way through the ball.

AISI 52100 Chrome Steel material balls are used in the dry grinding and milling applications where corrosion resistance is not require. This low alloy chrome steel has excellent wear resistance, high hardness, surface characteristics, and dimensional precision. It is an excellent material for balls used in various applications.
